Web Sites
Over the years I've created a number of web sites for myself. In the last few years I have also branched out started creating sites for other people. You can see other examples of my work below.
My services range from creating your site from scratch, creating a new site using your current content or taking over the maintenance and updating of your current site.
As you can see when you view the sites I've created, I use colors and images to create a visually attractive site and incorporate very few bells and whistles. This philosophy allows for the sites I create to be viewed as they should be on most web browsers and means that the site is functional. Bells and whistles are pretty at but all too frequently mean your site is not viewable when there is an incompatibility between the code on your site and the browser or add-on.
I also offer a maintenance and update service for sites that have already been created -- either by myself or another designer. For $10/hour I will make regular updates to your web site and do basic maintenance. Major changes or updates would fall under design work.

MY WEB SITES
Holiday Crafts 4 Kids is for kids ages 4-7 years old with holiday-related crafts and activities. The site is still under construction but there are crafts for most of the major holidays. The site is great for teachers, daycare workers and parents looking for inexpensive crafts to help keep their kids busy during holiday seasons. Visit the site at www.holidaycrafts4kids.com.
Fandangle Magazine was a free online magazine for kids ages 6-10 years old. The magazine, which is published once a month, has short stories, poems, puzzles, games, educational stories, coloring pages and more. The web site also has forums, free eBooks, a bookstore and resources for kids, parents, teachers and writers. You can find the complete archive here.
Fandangle Magazine was named as one Writer's Digest's Top 101 Best Web Sites for 2007 for Children's Writing. Here's what they said: "With a name like Fandangle, what's not to like? The virtual library of free children's e-books and audio books is a nice touch. The site's writers' resources include a comprehensive index and links to sources that promote and educate writers." This ezine closed in December 2007.
Bear Pawsibilities, my oldest site, is for teddy bear lovers -- both collectors and makers. The site has links to other bear sites and free patterns. Visit the site at www.bearpawsibilities.com.
Flash Tales Ezine is a site I created for Michael Kechula. The first issue hit the web in September 2006. On the site you can find the guidelines, more about the ezine and a virtual store featuring Mike's books. Closed.
MANY Options is the afterschool program that my daughter goes to. It is a bit different than my usual layout, but that had much to do with having a site that looked similiar to Monadnock Family Services' site than anything else. Visit the site at www.manyoptions.org.

Doris Fisher is very talented children's author. I recently took over the maintenance of her web site. Visit the site at www.abcdoris.com.
Parent Express is a parenting newspaper covering Cheshire County, NH and Windham County, VT. I'm the editor and I also maintain the web site. Visit the site at www.parentexpress.net.
The Keene Scene is a site for the tweens and teens in Keene, NH with links to things to do around town, community volunteer opportunities, job and driving related links, and more. Visit the site at www.thekeenescene.com.
Kids Writer 411 is a web site devoted to helping writers for children of all ages with resources, chat and writing tools. I created this originally as part of the Fandangle Magazine web site to give back to the community. Since closing Fandangle Magazine, I moved this information to its own site. Dara A. Lehner is very well published children's author. I recently took on the project of completing her site and doing ongoing maintenance. Visit the site at www.blueturtlestation.com.
UPCOMING PROJECTS:
The Challenge Program is another program run by Monadnock Family Services that also works with the MANY Options program. This site is still in the planning stages.
Monadnock Family Resource Center is also run by Monadnock Family Services to meet the needs of families of all shapes and sizes. They have a wide variety of programs for families, parents and grandparents. This site is still in the planning stages.
